Hi Friends,
I had a great time down in Old Fort last night for their Art Walk. I also went to the Winter Lights show at the NC Arboretum last week, and a home show for three close friends who have delightful artwork last weekend. I am enjoying the season of sparkle lights and gifting. I'm not sure this is really the "most wonderful" time of the year - but I do enjoy it.
I am still making new work in the pottery studio each day. This week I finished a big batch of new soup mugs - perfect for warm soups, or hot chocolate with an absurd amount of whipped cream. I also finished a big batch of small cups, round mugs, and a lot of beautiful ornaments. I spent my making time throwing a new dinnerware set on the wheel for dear friends.
